Lake Mohawk consists of approximately 2300
acres. The lake itself is man made and spring
fed, approximately 500 acres. There is
unlimited horsepower and size on boats. Enjoy
water skiing, sailing, canoeing or just
relaxing on your pontoon boat.
For the fisherman the lake is stocked with
Northern Pike, walleye, large and small mouth
bass. Blue gill, crappie, cat fish and perch
are also plentiful. The Fish Club runs a
nursery and installs artificial reefs to
maintain the fish population.
The lake freezes to an average of 15"
most winters enabling you to enjoy ice
fishing, snow mobiles and ice skating. A
lighted sled riding hill provides lots of fun
and laughter for the whole family.
There
are three beaches . The main beach has a
clubhouse, picnic pavilion, swim float,
children's play equipment, sand volleyball,
lighted tennis and basketball courts. There
is also a West Beach and a South Beach.
There are 14 docking areas and a marina with
two boat launching ramps, gasoline pumps and
sheriff's office. The lake has life guards
for the beaches and Lake Patrol to assure
safety on the water.
A 9-hole golf course provides further
recreation. Although there are mostly Par
3's, there are at least three Par 4's.
Membership and green fees are open to all
property owners and their guests.
There is
something to do for everyone at Lake Mohawk.
The Ski Club will teach you to ski even if
you don't have a boat. The Fish Club will
show you where to find the best fishing.
Other social clubs are Friends and Neighbors,
Women Civic Club, Mohawk Trail Garden Club,
and the newly formed Fellowship Club.
Come for a private tour of our "best
kept secret". It's suburban living at
its best. Just the place for your family to
call home.
Malvern
Malvern is a village about 15 miles
southeast of Canton in Carroll County Ohio.
Much of it is farm land. There are about
2,000 residents in Malvern and another 2,500
at Lake Mohawk.

The school houses kindergarten, Junior
High and High School in one building. A
graduating class consists of about 85
students. Because of the size of the school,
children have the opportunity to be involved
in all activities. A child who would have
been sitting on the bench at a larger school,
could become the star player in a smaller
one.
The major shopping malls are a half hour
away. Malvern provides you with a more
relaxed environment and not the hustle and
bustle of big city life. Yet we do have local
stores. So anything you really need is only a
few minutes away.
Canton, the nearest city, has attractions
of it's own including the Pro Football Hall
of Fame, McKinley Museum of History, Science
and Industry, the Canton Civic Opera and the
Canton Classic Car museum to name a few.
